For environmental sensing, this single system platform, which is also designed with multi-array ports, will allow for multiple plug and play sensors, based on IoT technology, to be installed and operated at the same time with different combination of sensors on one platform. This device can be deployed for various data collection and monitoring applications (air emission monitoring, water monitoring, etc.). Data collected can either be stored internally or transmitted to a main server through WiFi or 4G LTE connections for further data processing. In addition, user warning features such as alarms can be set for threshold limits to alert users monitoring these systems.
